We have had over 50 consecutive days of 95 to 100+ heat. Yesterday, mid-morning, our air handling unit quit.  The compressor was working fine but no air! I called Reddi at about 11:30 to get service availability.  At 11:45 I got a call from their dispatcher tell me they had a tech finishing a job and would be available shortly.  At 12:45 Gary Carty rang the doorbell. By 1:00 he had diagnosed a bad relay board. He had to go get a new board from the distributor, left drove across the city and was back by 1:45.  The board was installed and operating by 2:00. He checked the outdoor unit just to be sure everything was working properly and found a bad component which may have contributed to the board failure.  Again, he had to go retrieve the necessary part, immediately came back and finished by about 3:00.  I go into this lengthy story just to demonstrate what an amazing job Gary did to get us back up and running during a critical heat wave.  I know the HVAC folks are slammed with this heat condition, but Gary went above and beyond to make sure this old retired couple had a/c! Going without cold air in the middle of a summer heat wave is the last thing you want with kids and dogs in the house. I called Reddi on a Sunday and they had Ken come out in under 3 hours after I called. He got us back up and running with AC AND walked me through the reasons why we were broke down in less than 30 minutes. Yet another great experience with Reddi HVAC. Our system was on its last legs and wasn't keeping up with the recent heat wave. I called Reddi on Monday to schedule an appointment for a quote on a new system. Luke came out the next day, was on-time, and provided a comprehensive, very competitive quote. They happened to have someone reschedule and were able to get me in two days later on Thursday. Eric and Chad were right on-time, did a fantastic job with the install, and left the place cleaner than when they arrived. I could not be more pleased with Reddi HVAC. James Shove was our technician for our a/c tune up and check.  James was very professional and very efficient.  he started in the basement with his check, replaced the filter and ran diagnostic checks.  He then went outside and cleaned the unit, replaced a wire terminal that was corroded and completed his tests.
